How to Order & Delivery 

Whilst my on-line shop is under construction, pieces can be commissioned by contacting me directly via e-mail or telephone. Alternatively, depending on your location, an appointment can be booked or you could arrange a party and enjoy a 10% discount (please go to Jewellery Parties for more information). Simple to use fingerprint moulding kits are also available for me to send to customers outside my local area. All my contact details are listed on the Contact Me page.

Each piece is made to order as a bespoke service, items will be dispatched 7-10 working days after the order is placed or on receipt of the impressions you have taken. 

Please remember that the fine silver is handcrafted and no two stones are the same so there may be some slight differences in the product you receive in comparison to the picture or product you originally based your order on.

Hallmarking of the fine silver is available, however this process has an extra cost of £20 per item and adds 7-10 working days to the dispatch time. If you require the piece to be hallmarked please tell me at the point of ordering.

Each piece is presented in a cream, branded box with an insert card and is finished with a piece of silver ribbon.

All items requiring delivery will be sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery, costing £5.95 postage and packing within the UK, with an extra £1 per item on multiple orders.

Currently, payment is made at the time of ordering by cheque, cash or Paypal with online ordering.  Cheques should be made payable to 'Distinctive Impressions'.

Please note: With regard to taking finger prints, some children younger than 18 months old may not have developed a well defined fingerprint so there may not be huge amounts of detail in the print.  There will be a cute little dimple, though, with some detail, which will still look lovely and will be unique to your child.
