In Memory





When the end is near, at times of loss or just when you know memories will need to be treasured, the time comes when we feel the need to preserve every living memory and make them last forever. 

Taking one of the most unique human impressions, the fingerprint, and encapsulating it in fine silver jewellery generates a great sense of comfort knowing that your loved one will still be close to you.








 

My father-in-law bravely fought cancer but unfortunately recently lost his battle. My two-year-old son had a wonderful relationship with him but with the passing of time his memories are likely to be limited. Thankfully I was able to capture my father-in-law's fingerprint and put it onto a key ring pendant with an inscription on the back - a keepsake my son will be able to treasure forever.

When you have decided that you would like a fingerprint preserved, your individual needs with be dealt with sympathetically, swiftly and with integrity.

Please Contact Me and I will either be there in person to take the print for you, depending on location, or I will send you an impression kit with clear instructions of how to take the fingerprint. I will, of course, be available at any time to provide you or the carer/nurse/undertaker with support or guidance. 

There is no rush to return the impression moulds back to me; the most important thing is that the fingerprint is captured. You then have all the time you need to decide how you would like the fingerprint presented. If a moulding kit is used I will have the print captured forever and other pieces can be created at a later date should you require this.

 

Eternal Box Pendant

A hand-crafted box pendant approx. 1.5cm wide by 1.5cm long and 1cm deep.  The surface of the box has a hammered effect texture and a polished heart embellishment. The final stage of the crafting process is to completely and permanently seal the box lid so all the contents will be encapsulated forever.  It is finished on a 16 or 18 inch heavy weight snake chain.
